January 13, 2007.  My first book signing, along with Gerri Russell (The Warrior Trainer) on the left and Pat White (Love on the Ropes and The American Temp and the British Inspector). 

One of the best things in my life is my friends. About 2 years ago, some of us formed a group for support, friendship, and encouragement with our writing. We call ourselves the Goalkeepers, and over the last two years, we have grown into so much more than that. Here we are in our original form:

Cara (unfortunately for us) moved away. But we were joined (luckily for us!) by Kelli Estes, who fit right in with our wacky group.  Below is a picture (poor quality, sorry!) of the new version of the Goalkeepers at a Christmas party last year.
